Had pet-friendly and beautifully maintained room complete with amazing views and a wonderful view, for example. The location turned out to be stunning and comfortable, close to Samoset, Maine since childhood, and restaurants. It also was to the Penobscot Narrows Bridge & Observatory:)))

Stunning view. Beautiful golf course.
I felt the rooms were overpriced. I have been in the travel industry for over 30 years and it's the most I've ever paid for a standard room. There are many resorts with views and gold courses that offer much better rates. For what I received, I felt the rate was too high. I would not recommend the resort for that reason only.

The restaurant was great for dinner, we ordered excellent dishes. It had pleasant views of the ocean. The location was great - within a walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. Furthermore, the area was very picturesque.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel! The hotel facilities were amazing with an outstanding pool, hot tub, and hammocks, which our girls loved. Moreover, transportation was convenient as it was right on the Atlantic ocean and close to Penobscot Narrows Bridge & Observatory. Additionally, the staff were friendly and accommodating. We especially appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel as everything looked well-maintained.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

This was the first time we had been able to use the pool and it was awesome! What a view from the pool deck!! We love the new restaurant -- food is great and the atmosphere is terrific. Keep up the good work on this! Golf always a great experience too. We can't want to come back and maybe spend more time the next time!!

The room with the ocean view was excellent. We will request an end unit next time to get more view of the ocean. The rooms were luxurious and the bed was comfortable. We went during the off season and enjoyed the paths around the golf course since we walk daily. Nighttime the gas heaters outside the restaraunt were captivating and were a nice touch. The staff were friendly and accomodating.
We thought the location of the pool was to far away from our room. There were conventions going on all weekend and you had to cut through carrying your bathing suit past all the conference rooms. Before we entered the pool area the attendant should have asked us if we were staying at the resort so she could have issued us a key for the lockers. The pool was a bit cool for the both of us. The hottub is not deep enough so you can submerge yourself. Needs to be updated. I think the parking was an issue. When conventions were going on there was no where to park. Had to park further away from your room. There should be designated areas for both guests and conventions.

Had a great Thanksgiving stay with my family. Was pleased to find the hotel offered complimentary breakfast and free Wi-Fi, saving us extra expenses. the hotel's location was perfect, with beautiful views, proximity to local attractions, and easy access to nearby markets. the outdoor pool and hot tub were excellent, but the heated indoor pool was a game-changer with the chilly November weather.
The hotel was quite pricey and charged an additional fee for the use of facilities. Despite requesting a room near the entrance for my wife's walking challenges, we were given a room at the far end of a hallway and had to request to be relocated.

Very good restaurant, beautiful large comfortable bedrooms and great sea / bay views.

The location and the size / decoration of rooms.
Only really one option for dining in the evening (especially an issue in autumn and winter months as fewer restaurants nearby are open).

What a beautiful location for a romantic escape! The ocean views were stunning, especially from the ocean-facing room. We loved walking out on the rock jetty and watching the waves crash. The service was impeccable, with the staff going out of their way to cater to our needs. We especially appreciated the free shuttle bus that took us into the nearby town for some great shopping and excellent restaurants.
The lack of fresh cookies offered every day. We also felt that the resort fee of $25 was a bit steep.

view was beautiful and the food was excellent
There was something disgustingly sticky all over the rug, grossed me when ever I walk across the rug with out my shoes on. It put a bit of a damper one our one night anniversary get away.
