    Very good

    Stunning view. Beautiful golf course.

I felt the rooms were overpriced. I have been in the travel industry for over 30 years and it's the most I've ever paid for a standard room. There are many resorts with views and gold courses that offer much better rates. For what I received, I felt the rate was too high. I would not recommend the resort for that reason only.

This was the first time we had been able to use the pool and it was awesome! What a view from the pool deck!! We love the new restaurant -- food is great and the atmosphere is terrific. Keep up the good work on this! Golf always a great experience too. We can't want to come back and maybe spend more time the next time!!

The room with the ocean view was excellent. We will request an end unit next time to get more view of the ocean. The rooms were luxurious and the bed was comfortable. We went during the off season and enjoyed the paths around the golf course since we walk daily. Nighttime the gas heaters outside the restaraunt were captivating and were a nice touch. The staff were friendly and accomodating.

We thought the location of the pool was to far away from our room. There were conventions going on all weekend and you had to cut through carrying your bathing suit past all the conference rooms. Before we entered the pool area the attendant should have asked us if we were staying at the resort so she could have issued us a key for the lockers. The pool was a bit cool for the both of us. The hottub is not deep enough so you can submerge yourself. Needs to be updated. I think the parking was an issue. When conventions were going on there was no where to park. Had to park further away from your room. There should be designated areas for both guests and conventions.

enjoyed the view, pool, golf walk on the breaker. Your front desk person was friendly and helpful. Love the discount for being a resident of me.

    Very good

The location and the size / decoration of rooms.

Only really one option for dining in the evening (especially an issue in autumn and winter months as fewer restaurants nearby are open).

view was beautiful and the food was excellent

There was something disgustingly sticky all over the rug, grossed me when ever I walk across the rug with out my shoes on. It put a bit of a damper one our one night anniversary get away.

Very good restaurant, beautiful large comfortable bedrooms and great sea / bay views.

Environment for photos..reason for visit.l Love pool and food service on other visits w grandchildren...too cold for Sept visit tho was hoping to use it

Hate the new restaurant which is way too expensive for families after pool closes...companion and I ate l meal at bar; rest in Rockland. Resort fee of $25/day is outrageous and to my knowledge is new. A classy resort needs to go extra mule to pamper guests w amenities/ not play the "cheap" role. Same for no coffee bar in lobby...live free coffee in health club where 3 guests besides self were bitterly complaining about this...especially one Japanese guest. The $25 fee/day will prohibit my grandkids/parents from coming next summer. It just makes me angry!

    Fabulous

The general surround was pleasant and relaxing. You could do as much or little as you wanted.

I noticed some money is going to be spent on room updating, It needs it.

The quiet atmosphere and the gourmet food served. The size and comfort of the room as well as the overall facility setting and maintenance.

We found that the doors and walls were very thin and you could hear people and their conversations passing along the hallways as well as activities going on in the adjacent rooms.

    Superb

Great golf course. Wonderful pool location. Near bay.

Few times we had to wait after we were seated for a waiter to attend to us. There seemed to be some confusion as to which waiter/waitress should serve us. Manager needed to come over in one case. In another case we were seated without menus. Got caught in rain for around 12 holes. I should have walked off looking for a raincheck if I knew policy in advance. Would have been nice if offered at least a 9 hole future replay given we were guests of the hotel

Our second stay at the lovely Samoset Resort; as always, the staff and service were friendly and prompt. The view from the pool is amazing and very relaxing. Did not eat dinner but pool-side lunch was fresh and delicious, as well as a la carte breakfast. Love the resort and would return again next year if possible.

I had no complaints at all except our time there was too short

    Very good

It has a beautiful setting and view of the ocean. The facility is very nice.

It is disappointing to not have at least a free continental breakfast available given how common that is in less expensive hotels. The prices you charge are too high. In the gift shop Maine maple syrup is 3 times the cost you pay in town at a store. The light in the bathroom unnecessarily has one switch for both the sink and shower area. If one gets up early to golf, etc. and spouse is still asleep the light is distracting. The TV is cheap and has a bad picture. Parking was scarce over the week end.
